Why this exists
iPhone photos are HEIC. Plenty of places still want JPG.
HEIC keeps photos at roughly half the size of a JPG at the same quality. The catch is support. Older software, some websites, print labs and older Windows or Android devices can't open them, and plenty of forms reject them outright. HEIC Convertly turns them into JPG, PNG or PDF so the file works wherever you send it.

Why can't my computer or website open my iPhone photos?
iPhones save photos as HEIC by default. HEIC files are about half the size of a JPG at the same quality, but older software, some websites, print labs and older Windows or Android devices don't support them. Converting to JPG fixes that.
How do I make my iPhone shoot JPG instead?
Open Settings, Camera, Formats, then choose Most Compatible. This only affects photos you take afterward. Photos you already have stay HEIC, which is what this app is for.
